When an original Mersen fuse has a genuine market price, and the same fuse is offered at half or even one-third of that price, shouldn’t we question its authenticity, source and traceability?

We recently experienced this with a customer. We followed up on our quotation and the response was simply: “Oh, we got it much cheaper.”
But what does “much cheaper” really mean when that fuse is protecting equipment worth millions?
