The new HHA type series in our HV fuse-link portfolio is tailored to the requirements of the US market. HHA-BC fuses have been specially designed to protect capacitor circuits indoors and outdoors, thus offering optimum protection in case of failure.
Rated voltage: When using a standard HHD fuse-link for capacitor protection, its rated voltage must be one circuit voltage class up from the maximum application voltage. This is no longer required with the new HHAC-type fuses. Here, the rated voltage of the fuse-link needs only be one value up or on par with the maximum application voltage at the site.
